Hello Alex,

I just wanted to write and tell you about my first tattoo I received a
few weeks ago.  I took a lot of time to figure out what I wanted to get.   I wanted something that meant a lot to me.  Your work has been particularly influential on how I see the world, and I found it fitting to choose something from your work to get tattooed.  I decided that I really like the eye in the middle of the chest from the man on the album cover for Laterlus by tool.  I thought this was a unique idea, and then I visited the tattoo section on your website.  I had a good laugh because I realized that I'm not as original as I thought.

Regardless, I wanted to say thank you for making the world a better
place with your work. I know that sounds hackneyed, and well completely vague, but I don't want to waste your time with every way your work has made my day better.  I just wanted to say that you have another fan, who has another tattoo from one of your amazing canvases.  I'd send a picture, but you know what that painting is... the only difference is that mine is black and white, and two of the rings in the eye have blue and green, representing the
color of my eyes.

Respectfully,

Tom Chorman
